One of the reasons Poetry Press Week exists is to bring publishers and poets together in real time. We bypass the slush pile. In fact, as Major Jackson said at our O, Miami show, “I wish the slush pile was as entertaining as this evening.”

We’re excited to announce a new addition to our Poetry Press Week show this June. For the first time, we’re sectioning off a media bay for members of the press.

On a hot Miami afternoon, stepping into the Aesop store in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood is such a refreshing respite! Designed by architect Frida Escobedo, the store’s atmosphere is cool and sheltering without being gloomy. Refracted light enlivens the glass, stone, and steel, and the openness and knowledgeability of the store’s staff cheers weary hearts.
