On a hot Miami afternoon, stepping into the Aesop store in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood is such a refreshing respite! Designed by architect Frida Escobedo, the store’s atmosphere is cool and sheltering without being gloomy. Refracted light enlivens the glass, stone, and steel, and the openness and knowledgeability of the store’s staff cheers weary hearts.

One of the best parts about bringing our show to the O, Miami Poetry Festival has been the chance to work with amazingly generous sponsors who are excited about Poetry Press Week. Both Shinola and Kit+Ace have stores in Wynwood, right around the corner from MANA Contemporary where our event takes place.
