Brandi Katherine Herrera is a Portland, Ore.-based poet and multidisciplinary artist, whose work in poetic text, film, and sound has recently been performed for / featured in Pure Surface, Free Verse, Poor Claudia, The Volta, Thru Magazine, Octopus Magazine, The Common, Word/For Word, and Borderlands Texas Poetry Review, among others. Her book Mutterfarbe (experimental text + visual translations and poems, using Goethe’s Zur Farbenlehre as a primary source) will be published as a ltd. artist’s edition in September, 2016 by Broken Cloud Press.
