Allison Tobey is a survivor of Cleveland, Ohio, and received her MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles. She now teaches writing at Chemeketa Community College in Portland, Oregon, and is the poetry editor for Gertrude Press. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in many national reviews including Rhino, Concho River Review, Pedestal Magazine, Cloudbank, Sugar Hill Review, and Paper Nautilus.
